Children’s Sunday School–A new year begins in September! Our children’s Sunday school program is designed to involve and engage children in faith development through age-appropriate activities and lessons. Amazing stories of faith are brought to life as we journey through the Bible together. We are currently using the Spark classroom curriculum. For more information about Spark, check out their website:http://wearesparkhouse.org/kids/spark/classroom
This fall our lessons will concentrate on some wonderful Old Testament stories such as Moses and the Israelites, the Battle of Jericho, Naomi and Ruth, Jonah and the Whale to name a few. In the winter and spring, we will switch to New Testament stories including the Parables and miracles of Jesus’ ministry. Our Sunday classrooms have descriptive flags above the doors, so you can find your child’s class easily. In addition to our regular classrooms, teachers have access to a computer room, movie room, art room, and drama room. Kids can explore Bible stories in new ways using these unique facilities.
Children’s Music Ministry–Currently, we offer music for our children during the Wednesday Connect activities. Newcomers are always welcome!
Club 56–This is special ministry for our 5th and 6th graders, as we prepare them to move into our youth program. Its activities closely mirror those of the older kids but on a more age-appropriate playing field.
Basketball Program–Teams are available for those who are 6 yrs of age on up through high school. We have boy/girl/coed teams so we are sure to have one just right for you.
