Youth Ministries

Welcome to the Aldersgate Youth Ministry Page! Our youth programming begins at 7th grade to 12th.  At it’s foundation, is a special group of lay leaders and staff, who are dedicated to providing the resources and support to all youth who are exploring their spiritual path.  Disciple making begins early and we are committed to walking with them on their journey.  Check out the list below and give us a call if you think your student would be interested in coming along. We can help extend an invitation.

God’s Spirit Beckons, there are things to do and places to go!  This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid grave-tending life.  It’s adventurously expectant –
greeting God with a child-like “What’s next Papa?”

Summer Opportunities For Faith Building

When school is out for the summer, we know our families will be on the move.  It’s still important to stay connected to our youth, so special programs, events and projects are planned to make that happen.  Check our new summer line-up!

Other Youth Ministry Opportunities

Confirmation – Beginning at grade 6, youth are encouraged to attend Confirmation classes during the school year. These classes are held monthly at dates and times picked by the group and explore the history of Methodism and what it means to be a member of the Christ’s church.  If desired, membership happens in the spring.

Salkehatchie – SC Conference Service Program for those 14 and older. Participants work in selected areas of the state on homes that are in need of repair and stay the week in host churches. This is a life-changing experience, providing a more worldly Christian perspective. College age and older can serve as adult workers but must complete a background check and Safe Sanctuary Training.
