We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Pianist/Organist to join our music ministry team. This part-time position offers a meaningful opportunity to help lead and support worship through music in a supportive and faith-centered environment.
About the Role:
The Pianist/Organist works closely with the Director of Music and Pastor to provide instrumental accompaniment (piano and organ) for weekly Sunday worship services, choir rehearsals, and special events throughout the church year. The role also includes occasional support for ensembles such as the praise band, youth, and children’s choirs.
This position plays a key role in enhancing the spiritual life of our congregation through music.
Responsibilities Include:
- Accompanying weekly worship services and seasonal/special services (Christmas, Easter, etc.)
- Supporting adult choir rehearsals and other musical groups
- Collaborating with the Director of Music and Pastor on worship planning
- Accompanying weddings, funerals, and other church-related events (with right of first refusal)
- Participating in rehearsals as needed
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both piano and organ
- Experience accompanying choirs and congregational singing
- Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and musicians
- Passion for music as a form of ministry
